A Letter from Our President-Elect

Dear SWAESS Members and Colleagues,

It is a great honour for me to prepare to take on the presidency of SWAESS from 2027.

Aesthetic surgery and medicine are evolving rapidly. New techniques, technologies and ideas continuously reshape the way we practise — but with this evolution comes an even greater responsibility to maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, ethics and education.

This is where I believe SWAESS has an essential role to play.

My ambition for the coming years is to strengthen SWAESS not only as a professional society, but as a true community and reference point for aesthetic surgery and medicine in Switzerland — a place where experienced colleagues and the next generation can meet, exchange knowledge, challenge ideas and continue learning from one another.

Through initiatives such as the Swiss Aesthetic Meeting, Injection Academy, Advanced Training Day, our In-Training Program and future educational projects, we want to create more opportunities for high-level education, meaningful professional exchange and stronger connections across our community.

Most importantly, SWAESS is built by its members. Your experience, participation and ideas will continue to shape the future of our society.
